Finance and Supply Chain are both different fields with different scope and growth prospects. If you are a supply chain professional you will be dealing with supply chain issues from procurement to final production and final delivery to the end customer.It is the most emerging and challenging field in the market currently so if you are a supply chain professional you will require to update on inventory level manufacturing science transportation logistics warehousing etc. All these will be your necessary part of life.The starting salary in Supply Chain will be about Rs 4 lakh per annum to about Rs 7 lakh per annum depends on the company and your profile. It will increase with experience. Now talking about Finance field it will be more into accounting, financial management, portfolio management, asset management, wealth management, investment banking, banking and finance, stock market, fundamental analysis, technical analysis etc. You will be dealing with the total fund of the company and will be responsible for allocation of funds and the budget available different department of the company. Your task will be keeping the record of all the transaction. The starting salary ranges from Rs 4 lakh to Rs 10 lakh as per company and profile. So both the fields are different with different prospects. All the best!
