Nonprofit - A degree in International Relations also helps you in working for the welfare of the society. 4. Language - You can serve as a language interpreter or translator if you have mastered any of the global languages. Your growth opportunities in this field will largely depend on your language skills, proficiency in translating and so on.

MA International Relations and MA History are diverse career and are very difficult to be compared with each other. However based on available data MA history graduates have lesser job opportunities in comparison to MA International Relations graduates. History graduates are primarily employed in field of education, research and Travel & Tourism. Graduates in International Relations are employed in government, journalism, law, non-governmental organizations, international business, and teaching and research. Some of the IR experts become free lancers and work as advisors to political parties, Government organisation, think tanks, strategy organisation and opinion makers. Graduates have openings in foreign services, United Nations Organisation, etc. Salaries and perks & opportunities for growth are higher for International Relations graduates.
