CA has more scope because even a small and a medium sized company may require a CA. But a company secretary maybe is required by a comparatively larger company.

Both are good options but I think, CA is much better than CS in the future if you want a job or practicing CA is the best option.

Both are professional courses, both as important in own level. CA has more scope.

Chartered Accountancy and Company Secretary are two different courses. But there are also a lot of similarities between these courses. Both the courses are Distance Learning type course that is why you can do any other degree course like Regular B.Com or BBA course along with these courses. Company Secretary course is a course in which students learn all about management, financial, accounting and legal complication involve in the company's affairs. This course is focused toward legal obligations which company has to oblige in order to carry out this business. Whereas, Chartered Accountancy course is tilted towards taxation and auditing of companies accounts which is also the most important department of any company. Minimum eligibility criteria for both these companies: 10+2 passed or equivalent qualification. There are 3 stages in CA and CS:FOUNDATIONEXECUTIVEFINAL Examinations of the course are conducted twice a year in May and June. Admission is open throughout the year. These courses have centers all over India, you may find center near your city and you can take all the required information from these centres.
