I think both are equivalent. Both have their own perspectives. Jaypee, Noida is known for its CSE/IT branch. This college has extraordinary placement records as its location is in Noida. In Noida, there are so many technical companies that have a collab with that college, various technology giants visit the college directly. You will get internship offers and if you are lucky enough you will get a PPO. Now, LPU is famous for its CSE/mechanical branch, competition for placement in that college is on another level. You will get frustrated with the crowd of LPU. That university gives money to media for their promotion (fake promotion) So, I will suggest you to go for Jaypee, Noida. Best of luck. I am from LPU. CSE in LPU has good placement opportunities. This year, almost everyone got placed in top MNCs.

Durga Prasad, Lovely Professional University has good placements, and CSE in particular has a good record. Big companies like Google, Tech Mahendra, Cognizant, Amazon, etc come for recruitment purpose. University prepares its students for placements through special inputs in the form of placement classes. Highest package for CSE students is 15.5 lacs pa and average 4.7 lacs pa. Please check the link below for more details
