Choosing between the two courses would be one of the most crucial decisions of your educational future. But, it solely depends upon the level of the study. I mean if you want to go further for Master's degree then biotechnology would be a better option because it leaves you with many other choices for PG. But, if you are seeking a job right after your graduation, then you must go for microbiology, because it is a specialization programme, and you can get relatively greater job opportunities easily.
