In this time,Mechanical engineering is best as compared to Civil Engineering. Civil has limited career opportunities and packages. Bt mechanical is good after CSE.So u can get good packages and jobs. Best of luck.

in civil u will have field jobs that means out of office u should go to construction site and work but in mech u can be a bit relaxed in Your office

Do CS or IT if you are only job oriented.None mentioned above is actually good for job in India . Mechanical fresher gets too less.Evn if u are mechanical engineer, there are 75% chances that you would get a job in an IT company in your college placement because there are hardly any core mech companies visiting any institute.
