It is advisable to give CAT and apply to colleges with ur CAT score as it is accepted by most of the colleges in the country. On the contrary there are very few good colleges which accept MAT

HelloI will suggest , CAT is better to join top B. school. Because many IIMS prefer CAT and GMAT. CAT is not more difficlut for non maths students.Many non maths students get good percentile in CAT. For more information about IIMS visit this link
