Engineering and Hotel Management both fields are totally different, it's up to you in which field you want to make your career and what is your passion, your goal and what you want to achieve in your life. First, decide your passion, aim, goal and then according to that choose your field. I will give you a brief idea about engineering and hotel management. Or if your interest in Airline & crew, Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Airlines, Tourism and Hospitality, etc. Engineering:- Engineering is the passion, aim, pride, dream and joy, it totally depends on you in which field you want to make your career. Electronics & Communication Engineering:- It deals with the electronic devices, circuits, communication equipment like transmitter, receiver, integrated circuits (IC). It also deals with basic electronics, analog and digital transmission & reception of data, voice and video (Example AM, FM, DTH), microprocessors, satellite communication, microwave engineering, antennae and wave progression. Hotel Management:- Hotel Management is an area of study that covers a wide range of topics concerned with the operational aspects of hoteliery. Educational courses in hotel management are varied and cover topics as wide ranging as marketing, eco-tourism, leisure, business administration and management. It is the job of the Hotel Manager to coordinate the many operational tasks of running a successful hotel. Managing a hotel requires knowledge and skills within a wide variety of fields. This is why educations in hotel management can be so diverse and interesting. Many of them finding hotel management to be a rewarding and challenging degree programme and a qualification that will provide employment opportunities across the globe. An education in hotel management teaches skills to effectively manage different responsibilities such as reception and concierge services, restaurant and bar functions, administration, management and marketing. It is a career that provides extensive opportunities for travel and working abroad. Hotel management is not limited to hotel, multiple options are available. Few are Hotel management, Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Airlines, Tourism & Hospitality, Tourism and Hospitality, Airline cabin crew and Hospitality. You have an endless option available to you, you can get a job in Cruise Lines, Hotels, airline crew etc. Also, you can start your own venture like Pizza Hut, Domino's etc.

Both are good for you, but I suggest to you that both are different courses. B.Sc just like graduation degree after B.Sc, you can apply for M.Sc. But hotel management is a good course for you. You can join a private company regarding management.

The definition of best changes from person to person depending on one's interests and aptitude. No one can claim that particular branch is the best because it could be best for some but also, it could be the worst for some others. So, think about what you are good at and choose according. Don't worry because you have ample of time. Focus on your boards and work hardly and smartly.
