JEE Advanced is considered as one of the toughest entrance examination of India. The difficulty level of the paper is very high as compared to NEET paper. JEE is a two stage examination. The first stage is called JEE Mains and the next is JEE Advanced. National Institute of Technologies (NITs) and the other Government Funded Institutes (GFTIs ) admits its students on the basis of JEE Mains rank where as (Indian Institute of Technologies) IITs, IIST, IISc takes students on the basis of JEE Advanced rank. NEET is a bit easier to crack. Weightage of biology is more. Although seats are limited in the government medical colleges like AIMS. If you are good in biology then choose NEET and if your interest lies in mathematics the go for JEE. Both the streams are different and have to deal with different kinds of stuff. According to me, JEE is tougher to crack. NEET requires your basic knowledge of the subjects where as JEE Advanced requires your expertness. JEE has limited attempts (only two) whereas one can appear for NEET for a slightly more no. of attempts.

JEE Advanced and NEET are the two well-renowned and recognised exams. These exams are all India common engineering and medical entrance examinations which are conducted for admissions in various engineering and medical colleges respectively all over the country. Since JEE Mains & Advanced is for engineering and NEET is for medical, these exams are way different from each other Syllabus is quite different for both of the exam. NEET students have a lot to remember whereas JEE students require more of evaluation and understanding. Basically, both these examinations are difficult. Comparing these two exams on the basis of their difficulty level is tricky because Engineering and Medical are two entirely different fields. Students comparing these two entrance examinations to find which stream is easier need to know that whether or not a particular entrance examination is difficult should not matter if you really want to pursue a field. Nevertheless, if you look into the paper pattern of JEE Advanced, it’s tougher as compared to NEET.

So, JEE and NEET are completely different papers designed to test aptitude for two different areas of study. JEE has two set of exams. JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. These are for admissions in engineering colleges throughout the country. 1: DEPENDING UPON DIFFICULTY OF PAPER: NEET has only one exam and the exam is designed to test the aptitude of the candidate as a doctor. In general, we can say that NEET is easier than JEE Advanced and tougher than JEE Mains. The reason is that JEE Advance also has multiple choice type questions. Now JEE has also introduced numerical type questions that can have answer ranging from 000 to 999. This makes the probability of marking the right answer way more less than a simple paper having four option to choose from. 2: DEPENDING UPON NUMBER OF SEATS: JEE has two exams. In the first round, one and a half lakhs candidates are selected who shall again fight for next level exam. Seats in NITs, IIITs and IITs and other government funded institutes, as well as IIST, make cumulative seats way more than NEET. So compared to the number of seats made available in different exams, NEET is a bit harder to get into because of fewer seats. The number of seats you are competing for and the total number of competent also matters lot than the quality of the paper. A low number of available seats, even for an easy paper means you have to make a really good merit to get into and secure a good rank. Again people choosing JEE will say, NEET is easier and ones who choose NEET say JEE is easier. Reality is that both are equally tough and without hard efforts, both are difficult to crack. Really hope that helps. All the best!
