Which MBA specialisation has a better scope abroad, finance or marketing?

Finance: It focus mainly on market analysis, economics, investments, securities, costing, GDP and taxation. You need to be good with numbers, attention to details, good communication skill, reasoning ability, problem solving skills, make and implement decisions. The most important role is to plan strategies to raise capital from different sources for effective funding of projects, to assesses risks and benefits involved in projects, work in banks and financial institutions and accountancy firms. If you go abroad, you need to have sound knowledge of financing/accounting standards of that particular country. As, accounting standards varies country wise. Marketing: It focus mainly on marketing, sales, branding, finance, advertisement and people management. It needs logical approach, creativity, willingness to take risks, outgoing personality, communication skills, and reasoning skills. You should know how to implement marketing strategies in a proper way. In marketing, your fundamentals remains same, only the market/taste of consumer changes and it’s easy to adopt that change. In my view, MBA in marketing will have good opportunity abroad.
