It depends upon your choice. International Business is a booming field now in India. Doon Business School, Dehradun offers International Business as a specialization and offers good placements. Growth and placement wise, IB is better than HR due to very few vacancies for HR people.

Having cracked both the courses of premier institute TISS HRM and IIFT IB, I can honestly say that IB in the long term offers better salaries. Although, I chose HR from TISS but still truth is that generally IB guys in the long term earn more than HR guys.
