With those marks, you can get the NITs below rank 4. Moreover, you may not get core branches in NIT's too and it may ruin your future. So, it's not a wise decision to away from what you want to pursue just for sake of institution's tag. With those marks, you should definitely come to LPU. Also, you will be able to pursue your core branch and accordingly can sit for the placement. Though, my answer should be taken into consideration if you are a general student. You can get even more out of your JEE Mains if you belong to OBC, ST, SC category. Thank you.
