Which of these is better: B.Tech in CSE from NIT Trichy or B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from NIT, Warangal?

Finally, think about what would you like to work on for rest of your life, if sitting in front of a computer for entire day and coding excites you, go for CS. If you are more into network theory, diodes, signal transmission, go for ECE. If you are getting the same branch in both Trichy and Warangal, go for NIT-Trichy.

Both the colleges are equally good in terms of faculties, infrastructure and exposure. I think National Institute of Technology-Trichy has a better placement record than NIT-Warangal. We are comparing two different branches. Computer Science and Engineering in NIT-Trichy have upper hand over Electrical and Electronics Engineering from NIT-Warangal. These days most of the students are getting placed in IT firms irrespective of their branches. NIT-Trichy has maintained its top position for past 4-5 years. Environment in the institute is pretty awesome. Placement is 100% for both the branches in both the colleges. According to latest NIRF ranking, NIT Trichy is ranked 11th which is better than many IITs. NIT-Warangal's EEE is also a very good choice, but frankly speaking Choosing EEE in NIT-Warangal over CSE in NIT-Trichy may not be a clever choice unless you have a keen interest in electronics. I, personally, have chosen CSE in NIT Trichy over EEE in NIT-Warangal.
