Any day anytime BITS Pilani have the ball in their court. Simply because of the low acceptance rate in BITS Pilani only beautiful Minds get to study in the college and so is the reason why the college has won so much name in such a less time. Now if you are getting a choice between bits and SRM it is obvious for you to go for college where you can get to learn with similar minds, that is, bits. Admission in SRM is relative Lee much easier as compared to BITS Pilani and also the practice admission through management quota through which non deserving stones get a chance to Grab seats of the deserving ones. BITS Pilani is better than SRM in any field be it academics, infrastructure, faculty, and yes the real issue placements.Being number one college in the private sector nationwide almost every company visits BITS Pilani for recruiting students and are excited for the same while SRM being 11th on the charts has got no say. P. S. If you manage a seat in BITS Pilani grab it. Good luck! Cheers.

Birla Institute of Technology And Science (BITs), Pilani gives close completion to the top IITs. No other private engineering college can beat BITs in any department. CSE is topmost branch there. SRM too is a good University but crowd quality and admission process is not quite clear. I have answered a similar questions in which I have discussed about BITS in details. Surely, CSE from BITS-Pilani because of its exposure and various hands on training and the best placements. The placements are quite good in BITS (I am talking about computer science stream only as I belong to it). In a course of the year, all big companies including Google, Visa, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Amazon, Walmart, VMware, etc. visit and hire a lot of people here. There are no shortages of startups as well, as we have seen inMobi, Flipkart, Snapdeal, PayTM, Nearbuy, Roadrunnr, Nutanix, Sprinklr, etc. also visiting here. Infrastructure: Since the NAB (new academic block) has opened, I do not think BITS is inferior to any college in India in terms of infrastructure. We have excellent, spacious and enough of the computer labs with enough infrastructure for other experimenting purposes as well. We also have a new workshop coming, which is a delight for mechanical students here. Faculty: Well, if you like faculty members here or not, it could only be judged by you as it is more of a frequency and understanding thing. But on paper, BITS does have world-class faculty members with people from foreign degrees to IIT PhD degrees here. Assistants are usually the people currently doing their doctorate from BITS, so you get good guidance in that field also here.

In my opinion, BE in CSE from BITS Pilani is any day better than SRM University. BITS Pilani is a recognized university and has a very good brand value. The placement you get here will also be very good. The exposure you will get here will be amazing. BITS Pilani will help you grow in a holistic way and just in academics. The extra curricular societies are very active here and the fest is grand. Concluding, BITS Pilani is a better choice over SRM. BITS-Pilani is among top six engineering colleges in India in league with legacy IITs. It's CSE graduates' placement records are similar to top IIT graduates. Therefore, CSE at BITS-Pilani is a better option than SRM University.
