Which of these is better: BE in Computer Engineering from MIT, Pune or B.Tech in Computer Engineering from CoEP?

College Of Engineering Pune (CoEP) is comparatively better for computer science and engineering than MIT with its proper course deliverance, industrial experience, and updated curriculum according to the current corporate requirement. MIT is best known for its Chemical Engineering. The Non-Computational branches here are much better than the computer oriented. Taking Mechanical, Electronics, Civil, and Electrical into consideration then MIT is the one to choose. If Computer engineering in mind, one must definitely go for CoEP.

COEP and MIT are both good colleges and among the top most in Maharashtra. But among the two COEP is the winner. COEP has been ranked one in Maharashtra after the IITs and NITs. According to MHRD rankings COEP is ranked 24th while MIT is on the 94th rank. Generally speaking COEP blows MIT out of the water. COEP is much well-known and trusted among recruiters as compared to MIT. Last time COEP had around 85% placements for CSE (this number seems less as the students who didn't accept the offers are also included) and the average salary was around 7-8 LPA for CSE department which is more compared to MIT. COEP in also better in academics and extra-curricular as compared to MIT. What I have learnt from staying one year in Tamil Nadu is that COEP is well known all over India but the same is not the case with MIT. So go for COEP over MIT.
