Acharya Institute of Technology (AIT) is a better choice than MVJ College of Engineering in case of both educational quality and placements. But instead of opting for Aeronautical Engineering, I would suggest you go for CSE from AIT Bangalore. AIT is ranked 63rd in Indian Engineering college Ranking of "Outlook India". On the other hand, MVJCE stands nowhere in top 100. AIT Bangalore has huge campus of 120 acres whereas MVJCE has a campus of just 15 acres. AIT maintains a teacher-student ratio of 1:10. The Institute receives a "Modernisation and Removal of Obsolescence" grant from the AICTE for research activities and upgraded state-of-the-art laboratory facilities. It is one of the seven colleges in Karnataka to be funded by the World Bank and receives endowments from the VTU to carry out research in both its undergraduate and postgraduate departments. Coming on to why to choose CSE over Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation sector is still on a slow growth in India whereas IT sector is on its top gear of growth. There is a huge demand of CSE Engineers than Aero Engineers in India. Moreover Mostly IT companies comes for placements in the college. Hope this would help you to make a better choice.
