PESU or PES South Campus which ever you are getting reasons, comparatively 1. Officially, First Batch of PESU in 2018 have average placement of above INR 12 lpa, officially is necessary because there are stories but I wouldn’t hide if my college placements where good from my college website 2. It's Bangalore, Silicon Valley of India and the advancement and opportunities you get here is unparalleled 3. Extremely low strength of student, PES have a policy of student teacher ratio, and to increase the strength it don't take admission just from any exam, it has a much lower number of students to give sufficient focus to all 4. High Achievement, International Scholarship and Internship, Rocket (PISAT 2017) and RSAT (2019), 5 Research Labs within campus again for like 50 students each lab, not a 1200 for 1 ratio. The fee is a drawback, but there are enough scholarship to compensate that. So PESU it is.

For CSE from PES and SRM, I'll prefer you to opt for the SRM as that college is one of the best top private colleges of India and also the placements, faculty and infra of SRM college is better than the PES.

B.Tech in CSE from SRM is world class and is equally comparable to top IITs. The average range of salaries in 5-7 LPA and highest up to 88 lakhs with 100% placement record. The placement season for the current year 2015-16 started on a brisk in May 2015 with more than 50 top notch core companies recruiting 621 students. Some of the prominent recruiters included Goldman Sachs, Accenture, SAP, Philips, Amazon, GE, Dell, MuSigma, Think @ Learn, Amadeus, Flipkart, Fidelity, ThoughtWorks and HUL. PES Universty, however, is good enough but not in comparison to Top25 colleges for Engineering, since average salary seen here is 4 PA and highest up to 25lpa. 100% placements guarantee is not given and lacks quality dedicated team for placing all students. My personal opinion would be to go with SRM for its rankings, placements, alumni, faculty experience. An overview of all highlights is given below for complete reference of CSE branch.
