B.Tech in computer Science is a better option than BCA, because B.Tech gives you practically technical knowledge, which I what employers search for in a software engineer and also it is better than B.Sc in IT.

We can’t compare one degree with other. But, as you want to know I would like to share my own experiences (or can say the harsh truth MCA=B.Tech in most of the IT companies). I have seen one of my colleague who has done it from DU, and now sitting in US from last 2 years. Have seen my juniors BCA pass out now perusing MCA. These days Master’s degree is must, if you have done. B.Com, LLB or any course for that matter) who have joined 2 years back, and still can’t make the amount, which I was making when I joined as a fresher (yes, I did B.Tech). So, decided and opted the appropriate course for you (because you are the one who exactly knows your own caliber). But, if you are still confused, go with B.Tech (it gives you heads up for promotion, platform and starting salaries differences are also there). Don't forget, there are thousands of unemployed engineers and at the same time thousands of talented people are getting good jobs. It is never the degree, which really matters, it is all about the dedication, knowledge and the hard work which we put in.

Without any confusion, B.Tech CA/lT is a better option in comparison to BCA/B.Sc IT. Major difference is in terms of job point of views. All the programmes have different admission criteria.

In this stream, the main thing is the coding skills, and if you know that extremely well, then you can grab a handsome pack easily irrespective of the degree you have, so if you can be good at the coding then you don't have problem in doing B.Sc.

Generally speaking, the best option would be B.Tech in CSE as companies look for students with a B.Tech rather than B.Sc or BCA. Most of the IITs and NITs offer only B.Tech in CSE and IT and most of the big companies visit these premier institutes for placements. So, having a B.Tech degree from one of these premier institutes is better than B.Sc and BCA. Below are the benefits of B.Tech over B.Sc: 1. You will get more technical exposure in B.Tech as compared to B.Sc. CS. Moreover, the first year of B.Tech course comprises of basic knowledge of various engineering fields like Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Computer, Mathematics, etc., which can be very helpful in your career. 2. If you get selected for B.Tech in CS then undoubtedly you will be getting better course contents and deeper knowledge of computer science and its subjects. 3. B.Tech will offer wide career options and a decent future than B.Sc. CS. 4. If you get admission in a good B.Tech college/university then you will be having a good platform to develop your technical skills and knowledge at the state or national level, if you are capable enough. But if you have some financial problems or aren't getting admission in CSE in good colleges then go for B.Sc from some good institute.

B.Tech CSE is better than all of these. BCA is second best. B.Tech has more demand and provides higher packages than most other similar courses.
