Both, BCA and B.Tech have pros and cons. It's not that which is better but which is right for you. BCA is right for you if you are not very academic oriented person. The curriculum of BCA is simple and less competitive as compared to B. Tech. BCA is more classroom sessions oriented. After BCA, you can get job in software companies. B.Tech on the other hand is more practical experience oriented. The curriculum is difficult as compared to BCA. Job prospects in B.Tech are far better in B.Tech and you can get a job in any company.
