All the courses are good in some way or the other. It depends on individuals interest to select a stream to study further. Both civil engineering as well as computer engineering are good. If you want a peaceful job i.e. office jobs sitting in AC then go for CS but if you love adventure and field job, civil engineering is the best option.

It depends on your choice. No branch in engineering is better than other. Every branch has its own value or we can say importance. So, the answer to your question, is what you choose. Civil or Computer Science. My suggestion is that you should choose the branch in which you have interest. You should be passionate about your subjects and branch. Don't choose what the people says. CSE has some Subjects like, Data Structures and Algorithms, C, C+, Java, Python, etc. programming languages, Microprocessors, Cloud Computing, Operating systems, etc. Civil Engineering has some Subjects like Surveying, Infrastructure Engineering, Fluid Mechanic, Structural Analysis, Structural Design, Water and Hydrology Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Strength of Materials, etc. Also, please see the Syllabus of both Branches of university, you wish to take admission in.
