Sathyabama University is a good college but only if you are ready to work extra hard on your part. Considering the other colleges in Chennai there is absolutely no freedom inside the campus. Even the hostels have rules that make them like a prison. I mean, you cannot roam even in the campus even after college hours also you are allowed only once a month to go out from the Hostel and the inside canteen is a sham. It's smaller than our neighborhood stores and you need to get fax to go even to your home. All the best
