Comparing the topics of B.Tech CSE and B.Tech IT would't be any useful to you. Because if you consider B.Tech in CSE, different universities have different course plans. Even colleges under the same university have different course plan. So don't try to compare. Which one is better? I would say CSE is better. As that covers both how and SW. Most NITs and IITs have CSE programme. I would suggest you to do your own research to know about the syllabus. Even the syllabus shown in the websites of different universities aren't the same when you join them. Under the "flexible system", the teacher who are going to teach you will decide the syllabus right in the class. That syllabus will be far different from what is shown on the websites.
