It only depends upon your interest and dedication to pursue a professional line. But, if we relate the two courses with B.Com, MBA would be a more preferable and practical choice. But again, nothing is impossible, and you can achieve anything with hard work and dedication.

I will prefer MBA. MCA is a technical field. In India, lots of B.Tech and MCA etc. holders are not able to get a job and working with very low salary and facing lots of difficulties, but now a days the most important thing is to from where you have pursued your higher education.

If you don't get good college likes IIM etc. for MBA, then go for MCA. If your first priority is to start startup, then improve your programming skills. MBA or MCA both are good courses. As MBA is a management course and MCA is software course. Both are different fields. So, you can choose your field of interest. If you have interest in software field, then you should do MCA. And, if you have interest in management field, then you should choose MBA for your career. And both have many scopes, so after that you will get good job in many companies and also get good salary package. There is not much difference in the salary for the MBA and MCA. So, you can choose anyone of them.

You can go for MBA from present Indian job market point of view. Also, it depends on your future goals and interests. I am a student of Doon Business School, Dehradun. DBS offers MBA and PGDM with SAP bundled courses. Doon Business School came into existence 12 years ago and the placements are among the best in North India.
