Biotechnology is a vast field, which has it’s application in microbiology as well. There is large number of specialization that one can do in biotechnology in medical, pharmaceutical, agriculture, food technology and many more. So, biotechnology has an upper hand than microbiology stream.

B.Sc. In biotech is better that the B.Sc. In microbiology as there is more demand as compared to microbiology.

Both the streams have their own scope and it depends on your interest that which stream you choose. But, I will suggest you B.Sc biotechnology because it has more scope than microbiology. Microbiology is a part of biotechnology only. So, you should opt for B.Sc biotechnology.
