HBTI because its a brand & a government college and the standard of LPU is decreasing yearly.

I would have chosen CSE in HBTI, Chennai over LPU because HBTI is one of the reputed universities in India with good number of companies visiting for recruitment.

Well, I will suggest you to go for LPU because all the faculties are highly educated and you will get all the facilities related to your course. LPU is one of the top university in India. You will find many opportunities to explore yourself.

HBTI is better than LPU for CSE due to its selection criteria . LPU's selection is easy and way lenient than HBTI. Moreover, the best part which plays role in making college better is student's quality and atmosphere. For HBTI, CSE cut-off is around 12k rank in JEE Mains. If you are able to get that rank, go for HBTI or you can also go for NITs or IITs.

Both the colleges are more or less same. But still I would suggest to go for LPU. The college will give many learning opportunities and even the placements are also good in LPU. Faculties are also good and have vast knowledge of their field. Go for LPU. Hope this helps. Goodluck!!
