If any student want to pursue computer science, there is generally three ways: 1) B.Sc. In computer science (B.Sc CS) 2) Bachelor of computer application (BCA) 3) Bachelor of technology in computer science (B.Tech CS). The main difference between B.Sc CS and BCA is B.Sc CS is concept oriented, it will teach you the core concept of computer science, which will help you to learn anything new very quickly. On the other hand, BCA is application oriented, teach current technologies, but learning new technologies or working on core computing is difficult. I would suggest you to pursue the Bachelor of Computer Applications degree, it has better scope than Bachelor of computer science, and the duration of both of these courses extends to three years.
