Usually, GMAT is "easier" than CAT w.r.t. the no. of concepts tested. GMAT tests a finite no. of concepts but it's tricky w.r.t. to the standard/level of questions that are asked. Quant is more difficult in CAT than in GMAT. Verbal is more difficult in GMAT than in CAT. So, as per your individual strengths and weaknesses across different sections, you may find one of the tests easier than the other. Besides, GMAC (the organisation conducting GMAT) gives away 2 full-length GMAT tests free. So, you can take one of these tests to figure out where you stand.
