If you want to go for traditional colleges, go for Jamia but if you want to go with the futuristic syllabus (which is introduced after 2016), you can go for DSNLU.

Things to consider while preferring any college over other: fee, location of the college, placements, faculty, crowd. For fee, give heads up to Jamia without a doubt. Suitableness of the location of the college is something subjective. Jamia is in north, DSNLU in south. It’s you who can help yourself in this. Placement is something which is the ultimate desire of every kid. DSNLU is not among the top NLUs if we believe the rankings of different sources. The thing here to understand is when we don't have college name, it’s the student who needs to run the show. As answered below by my co-NLU student, how much hype a private college create, one can never be able to match the standards of a National Law University. Being a fresher at DSNLU, I am being exposed to a varied culture may it be moots, debates, placements of our senior batch, the campus infrastructure and an efficient administration and a peaceful environment. The faculty services were been improved over years and the standard of education too. If there's comes a question of opting between an NLU and a private institute, one can go for an NLU without any hesitation even if it's a tier-3 NLU (alike DSNLU).
