Undoubtedly, National Institute of Design as it is the best design school in India. It is also one of the most difficult ones to get into. It is a government institution and is in the list of top 30 design institutes in the world. It has the finest faculty of all design schools and has great infrastructure facilities too. The Institute's academic partners are the ENSCI (France), RCA (London), Shenkar (Israel). The Institute has also worked with Fiat, Autodesk, GM, and Whirlpool for business. The top employers at NID include Suzuki, Whirpool, Infosys Trident, Adidas, Samsung, Relax and Adobe. The students have drawn packages as high as 36 Lacs in the past from NID recruitment drives. Some of the noted personalities/alumni of NID include Dibakar Banerjee, Pan Nalin, Prasoon Pandey, Ishu Patel and many more.
