Very rarely this degree course is offered after 10+2. It is specialised Professional degree courses of one year duration offered to graduates of all streams. Syllabus of BLS has following subjects: (a) Foundations of Library & Information Science (b) Management of Libraries (c) Knowledge Organization and Information Retrieval Information Sources (e) Information Users, Systems and Services (f) Library & Information Technology (g) Library Cataloguing Theory (h) Library Classification.
