Preparation for UPSC always needs extra preparation than the curriculum as the syllabus includes many fields, so complete your graduation with good scores and B.Sc is a better course to pursue.

Most of the questions asked in UPSC exam are based on history, geography, economics and political science. So you can both BE and B.Sc. But you need to have a good knowledge of these too. If you are asking to choose between these two BE and B.Sc then I would suggest you to go for B.Sc. Both are providing graduation degree but BE is 4 years and B.Sc is of 3 years. This way you can save your one year to focus on UPSC preparation.

If you are preparing for UPSC, there are 4 subjects which are compulsory. Read history, geography, economics & political science. So, I suggest you to do BA.
