Maths is a must need for every IT courses. You should have pursued mathematics in high school in order to be eligible for admission into B.Tech but in BCA you can get admission even without maths in +2. If you are weak then I highly recommended you to start studying maths and put in extra effort in order to get good. You should even get coaching classes for mathematics also, because maths is highly recommended for programming.

You need to have maths in your +2 in order to be eligible for admission into B.Tech but in BCA, you can get admission even without maths in +2. There are many universities and colleges which will provide you admission but you'll have to study mathematics in both courses. So, if you are weak then I'd highly recommended you to start studying maths and put in extra effort in order to get good.

Thinking in a mathematical way will help you improve in programming and constructing different algorithms etc. Which is a major part of CSE. CSE is a vast subject and there are some portion where Maths is not required in other areas such as web development, networking etc. If you approach the subject with a non maths view all you will be left with is theory, which may help you clear your semesters but will never make you an engineer in the true sense. Please check for your eligibility to pursue BCA from the criteria mentioned below: BCA Course: Eligibility Candidates who wish to pursue BCA course must fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria. Pass in 10+2 examination in any stream from a recognised board of education. English as a subject of study. A minimum aggregate score of 45% at 10+2 level. Some colleges prefer students from Science stream or those who have studied Mathematics and Computer Science at 10+2 level. Regards.
