A per today's scenario CS is the best branch which is giving the highest placement record. For secure options, it is best to adopt. For the second one. You will surely crack an exam without coaching. You just need to prepare well and have confidence within you. Remember, topper of IIT JEE is mostly from the non-coaching background, you can get motivation from there. Best of luck.

CS is a good career option to pursue. A company having the required paid-up capital necessarily needs to appoint a CS. In that potential, jobs for CS may be limited but with the overview of Companies Act, 2013, corporates are more than keen to appoint CS.
