No, it's not a compulsion that for getting a job after MBA your graduation should be done via a regular pattern. However, ensure that your distance learning program is recognized by a university & the institute through which you are expecting to do your BBA is affiliated with a recognised university. If you wish to join your graduation through distance mode you can very well go for it. While opting for an MBA at a later stage it may or may not create problems. There are certain universities or colleges which may allow admission to only those students who have done their graduation as a regular course but there are too others colleges which allow the distance education degree for graduation. In case of a job also, it may be the same situation as some companies may specify that graduation or post graduation can be done via distance, some policies can be there. Hence, take the decision accordingly.

No, if you have done BBA from distance then it will not create any problem at the time of getting a job after MBA. Education can never go waste. Same thing applies to distance education. It will help you to learn new things, upgrade your skills and become a better person and as you have already completed your MBA then your skills are upgraded and you have professional skills. However, the main hitch is when there is a selection competition between a fresher from an academic regular course and one with distance education qualification. The employer will have a natural bias to select the fresher with an academic course completion. That suits the employer. In those courses which need practical lab sessions and other practical assignments and projects also obviously the distance education candidate best and most convenient and practical one for the career enhancement options inside the organisation. In any interview, what matter is giving your best shot and proving your abilities.

No, it's hard to find out the pattern of studies in some universities as it issues the same certificate and syllabus for both patterns. Even though some universities mention the mode of studies in the marksheet, but not in their certificates. for MBA admission, the entry requirement is Graduation in any Discipline. The degrees should be from UGC approved universities.Thatsall
