Thanks for visiting us and writing us your career query. BCA means Bachelor of Computer Application. It is a stream of Management, and is widely popular among the students, as one of the career option. BCA is a combination of Management and Computers. In order to be eligible to take an admission for the BCA course, a student of any stream can take an admission for the course provided he has studied the Mathematics Subject in his 12th standard. BCA is three course and students who do not to go for the engineering for them BCA is a good option. One can get an admission in a BCA college through an entrance exam. On completing BCA, it is advisable for the student to go for MCA. Because, on the basis of BCA, there are no much career opportunities available for the students however before enrolling for the MCA course you can take some practical experience and then can enroll for the MCA course. There are many career opportunities available for the student who has completed BCA and MCA. A student can work with various Small and Big IT firms as a Web Designer, Systems Management, and Software Developer etc., whereas you can also make a career in the Banking, Farming Industries, Dairy, Education Sector etc. You can also apply for the Government Sector Jobs.

Yes, BCA is considered a Professional Degree and is considered to give jobs. the limitation with BCA is that is has direct competition with B.Tech in Computers. As the number is very large, so B.Tech are available on numbers. but, the positive thing is that, Skills-Technical Skills I mean- still important and can get you a job if you know good of Computers Skills, programming and webs.
