If you are able to make into merit list cutoff date based on CAT score, GDPI score and academic score then you can get admission in IIM.

Your academic performance, CAT/GMAT score, performances in GD and PI will be counted depending on the institute. Each parameter is assigned a particular weightage on the basis of which the final merit list is prepared. The parameters and their weights vary with each of the IIMs. Over the last couple of years, group discussion is being replaced by written ability test. Until last year, IIM - Calcutta and Lucknow conducted GD rounds as a part of their selection process, but from 2015 onwards, both the institutes have exempted the GD rounds and now only conduct What-PI as a part of their selection process. Some IIMs include CAT score as a parameter for assessment during both the shortlist stages of the selection process. However, IIM - Indore does not give any weightage to the CAT score at the second stage to prepare the final selection list.
