Yes, KIIT is known for its placements in IT branches, you will have a couple of opportunities here.

It is good, probably the best in Odisha in terms of placement as companies like SAP, Microsoft, TCS visit its campus. CSE placements in KIIT, BBSR depends a lot on your CGPA and certifications (since 2015). If you have a GPA of 9, you are fluent in English and can solve aptitude can have good basic knowledge of your subject then all or it is enough to get you placed in a good company which offers a package of 5 to 8 LPA. The average package had been around 4 Lacs. Total costs for B.Tech goes around 12 lacs and it will take around 2 to 4 years for you to get the ROI so if you don't get a government college with placement then it is still a good option. The average placement in KIIT is 90% for CSE.
