It serves an area of 48 square miles (120 km2), including Marshall Township, McCandless Township, Wexford and the boroughs of Bradford Woods and Franklin Park. According to the 2000 federal census data, it served a resident population of 47,531. By 2021, the district's population increased to 50,023. In 2009, the District residents' per capita income was $35,130, while the median family income was $81,636. North Allegheny Senior High School students may choose to attend A.W. Beattie Career Center for training in the vocational trades.
