What is Stand With Us mean?

StandWithUs (SWU, also known as the Israel Emergency Alliance) is an international right-wing, pro-Israel advocacy organization headquartered in the United States. SWU was founded in Los Angeles by family therapist-turned-activist Roz Rothstein and her husband in 2001. As of 2016, it had 18 offices across the US and branches in Israel, France, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

The group's stated motivation is stopping disinformation and bigotry against Israel and Jews. The founder claims the organization is non-partisan and takes no policy positions. The organization focuses on education and is active on American, Canadian, British, and Brazilian campuses. According to The Intercept, SWU "trains students in Israel advocacy, organizes opposition to resolutions of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement (BDS), and sponsors pro-Israel events." SWU has organized numerous protest and counter protests.

The organization closely coordinates with the Israeli government, with Danny Ayalon regarding it as a key US asset for the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The organization has been criticized both for toeing the line of right wing government policies and its insistence that Jews agree with all official policies of the Israeli government.
