Galaxy Note

Initially released in 2011, the Galaxy Note was an Android smartphone series from Samsung. The phones were similar to the Galaxy S series but had larger displays, higher specifications, and more features, including a STYLUS called the S-Pen.

In 2021, the Galaxy Note series of phones was discontinued. The Galaxy S22 Ultra phone was released the following year, featuring a 6.8-inch display and a stylus. This made the experience similar to a Galaxy Note phone.

Versions of the Galaxy Note
  • Galaxy Note - Released in October 2011, the first Galaxy Note had a plastic backing, 1 GB RAM, 16-32 GB storage, and a 5.3-inch display, which was massive at the time of its release.
  • Galaxy Note II - Released in 2012, the Galaxy Note 2 had 2 GB RAM, a 5.55-inch display, and up to 64 GB storage.
  • Galaxy Note 3 and Note 3 Neo - Released in 2013, the Galaxy Note 3 had a leather and plastic DESIGN and a 5.7-inch display. It had a 1080p Super AMOLED display and many features to enhance the functionality of the S-Pen. The Galaxy 3 Note Neo was a lower-end, more affordable phone version.

  • Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ - Released in 2019, the Galaxy Note 10 OFFERED two size variants. It introduced the "hole punch" camera embedded in the display, which is also on the Galaxy S10. These phones had three rear cameras, up to 12 GB RAM, and up to 10 hours of battery life.
  • Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra - Released in 2020, the Galaxy Note 20 has a similar design language to the Note 10 but features rounded edges. Notable updates include 5G capability and an Ultra version of the phone which is larger and has higher specifications.
