What is the meaning of Storyboard in english?

A storyboard MAY refer to any of the following:

1. With movies or animation, a storyboard is a visual representation of how the story depicted in the MOVIE or animation is told. These storyboards are usually several boxes in two or three columns with QUICK drawings in each box that depict the scene. Next to the boxes are notes on the scene describing the CAMERA angle, what's happening, or how much time has passed.

2. Alternatively referred to as a task board, a storyboard is a physical or digital visual overview of a project. A storyboard can give everyone working on a project a quick overview of who is working on what, and the completion status of certain tasks. These type's of storyboards can be used in the development of a website, software program, or another big project with many tasks and people involved.

An example of a physical task board is a whiteboard with three or more columns broken into To-do, In Progress, and Done columns. In each column, employees can use different colored sticky notes that can be moved between the columns, depending on the status of the task.

3. In software programs like Windows Movie Maker, the storyboard area is an overview of a clip found at the bottom of the window. In the storyboard are the user can arrange movie clips, pictures, audio, and other ELEMENTS that make up the complete movie.
