UPS Full Form

The full form of UPS is “Uninterruptible Power Supply“. It is used to protect critical loads from utility-supplied power problems, including spikes, brownouts, fluctuations and power outages, all using a dedicated battery. UPS runs on a battery that is used to supply power in the absence of a primary source or when the supply is cut off. Battery size is an important factor in the selection of a UPS system.
