LEARNER with SEN is defined variously in different documents. For example, a child with SEN in a District Primary Education Programme (DPEP) document is defined as a child with disability namely visual, hearing, locomotor, and intellectual. Inclusion is an umbrella term that refers to include each and every category of children, regardless of their differences and disabilities.Each child comes with their own CHARACTERISTICS, STRENGTHS and limitations, so sensitization regarding their individual needs is NEEDED to make inclusion SUCCESSFUL.
