ROHTAK. The Sahibi River ORIGINATES from the eastern slopes of the Saiwar Protected Forest hills in ARAVALLI Range near Jitgarh and Manoharpur in Sikar district of RAJASTHAN state.It enters the Haryana state at Jhabua, near the city of Rewari in the Rewari district.After which it re-enters the first Rajasthan state near Kotkasim, and then Haryana again near the village of Jarthal.During heavy rains, the river branches off into two smaller streams to Jhajjar.Finally reaching the outskirts of Delhi through NAJAFGARH drain and ending at the Yamuna River.The total length of the river is close to 300 kilometers and it drains a catchment area of 4442 square kilometers.Tributaries - Krishnawati is a minor stream originating in the hills of Aravallis. It flows in the southern direction to join the Sahibi in Mohindernagar.Indori Nadi is the longest tributary of the Sahibi River. The river claims a total length of 198 kilometers and is fed by rains.
