Prodyota had two sons, Gopala and Palaka. He was succeeded by Palaka. Pradyotas of Avanti won Magadha and ruled there for 138 years from 799-684 BCE. His father was Punika, a minister in Ujjain. Pradyota dynasty rulers were Pradyota Mahasena, Palaka, Visakhayupa, Ajaka or Aryaka, Varttivarddhana, or Nandivardhana.Mahanandin was a king of the Shishunaga dynasty of the Indian subcontinent. The dynasty ruled parts of ancient India around the city of Pataliputra. The ninth Shishunaga king and his son Mahanandin was the tenth and the last Shishunaga king. Nandivardhana was the name of the king of the Shishunaga dynasty of Magadha.
