DeenDayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY):The DDUGJY scheme aims to provide 24×7 uninterrupted electricity supply to each rural household in India by 2022.The scheme (DDUGJY) was launched in 2015, in Patna, Bihar.The DDUGJY replaces Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY).Its main objective is feeder separation for rural households and for AGRICULTURAL purposes.To maintain and strengthen the distribution and sub-transmission infrastructure, including metering at all levels in rural areas.The scheme also strengthens the microgrid and off-grid distribution network of rural electrification.
