Icse Description: ICSE full form or ICSE means Indian Certification of Secondary Education (ICSE).
A
private board of secondary education which was established by the University of Cambridge
Local Examinations Syndicate conducts this examination for
class 10th in
India.
This
private board is named the Council for the Indian
School Certificate Examinations. It was founded in 1958.
The purpose of replacing the Cambridge
school Certification Examination with an all-
India Examination
set up ICSE in 1958.
On 3rd November 1958, the Council held a meeting which
led the Council to be
registered as a
society in 1967.
Later the Council got listed as a body to conduct PUBLIC exams.
The examination of ICSE has a
clear motive to promote “the development of statistical education, training, and understanding”.

Council for the Indian
