| 3. | In case of inconsistency between laws made by Parliament under articles 249 and 250 and laws made by State Legislatures , the law made by Parliament shall prevail and the State law shall be inoperative to the extent of repugcy while the law made by Parliament remains in effect -LRB- article 251 -RRB- . यदि अनुच्छेद 249 तथा 250 के अधीन संसद द्वारा बनाई गई विधियों तथा राज्यों के विधानमंडलों द्वारा बनाई गई विधियों के बीच कोई असंगति हो तो संसद द्वारा बनाई गई विधि अभिभावी होगी और राज्य की विधि विरोध की मात्रा तक अप्रवर्तनीय होगी और संसद द्वारा बनाई गई विधि प्रभावी रहेगी ( अनुच्छेद 251 ) . | |
| 4. | Although any power exercised by the Parliament in the national interest or during an Emergency does not restrict the normal legislative power of a State Legislature , in case of any conflict the law made by the Parliament prevails and so long as it remains in force , the State Law , to the extent of its repugcy , remains inoperative . यद्यपि संसद द्वारा राष्ट्रीय हित में या आपात Zस्थिति के दौरान प्रयोग की गई किसी शक़्ति से किसी राज़्य के विधानमंडल की सामान्य विधायी शक़्ति प्रतिबंधित नहीं होतीं , तथापि टकराव की स्थिति में संसद द्वारा बनाया गया विधान प्रवर्तन में रहता है और जब तक वह प्रवर्तन में रहता है तब तक राज़्य विधान , जहां तक संसद के विधान से उसके टकराव का संबंध है , अप्रवर्तनीय रहता है . |
