1. Right distance from sun for liquid water

2. A ROCKY Planet, not a Gas Planet.

3. Right amount of atmosphere, not too little or too much.

4. Electromagnet Field to shelter planet from Cosmic Rays.

5. Not near the inner half of the galaxy (too radioactive).

6. Rotates to GIVE 24 hr day (15-20 F temp drop at night).

7. Tilts +/-23 degree to SPREAD heat over more area (seasons)

8. Right size – enough mass/gravity to hold air

9. Sun is quiet – not big range of solar flares

10. Not in outer third of galaxy (only gas planets)

11. If Big Bang a tiny bit less powerful; a UNIVERSE of gas

12. If Big Bang tiny bit more powerful; a radioactive universe
