The full form of PF, PPF and GPF is Provident Fund (PF), Public Provident Fund (PPF) and General Provident Fund (GPF). These are the very long saving instruments in India.
हिंदी में PF, PPF और GPF का फुल फॉर्म भविष्य निधि (PF), सार्वजनिक भविष्य निधि (PPF) और सामान्य भविष्य निधि (GPF) होता है। ये भारत में बहुत लंबे समय तक बचत के साधन हैं।
प्रॉविडेंट फंड पेंशन फंड का दूसरा नाम है। इसका उद्देश्य कर्मचारियों को उनके रोजगार के स्थान से सेवानिवृत्ति के समय एकमुश्त भुगतान प्रदान करना है। यह पेंशन फंड से अलग है, जिसमें एकमुश्त और मासिक पेंशन भुगतान दोनों शामिल हैं।
पब्लिक प्रोविडेंट फण्ड अथवा सार्वजनिक भविष्य निधि भारत में बचत एवं कर-बचत करने के लिये प्रयुक्त एक जमा योजना है। जिसे 1968 में वित्त मंत्रालय के राष्ट्रीय बचत संस्थान द्वारा प्रस्तुत किया गया था। बहुत से लोग इसे सेवानिवृति के समय धन प्राप्ति का साधन भी मानते हैं।
यह सरकारी कर्मचारियों के लिए उपलब्ध भविष्य निधि खाता है। इस कोष में, सरकारी कर्मचारी खाते में अपने वेतन का एक निश्चित प्रतिशत योगदान करते हैं। जमा राशि का भुगतान कर्मचारी को सेवानिवृत्ति या सेवानिवृत्ति के समय किया जाता है।
